For over 60 years, Children’s Panadol has given parents the confidence to make their kids feel better. Children’s Panadol Suppositories 6 months – 5 years provides effective pain relief for children without having to swallow tablets, caplets or oral solutions, our children’s suppositories can be used to manage fever and pain. It can be used for children suffering from nausea and vomiting as well as for children that are refusing to take oral medication.

What does it relieve?

Fever, teething pain, immunisation pain, earache, headache, and pain associated with cold and flu symptoms.

What’s the dosage form?

Suppository
A solid medical preparation in a torpedo shape, designed to be inserted into the rectum to dissolve.

How to Use

Before using Panadol Suppositories, be sure to check the product ingredients and directions for use, and make sure you are familiar with any warnings and precautions.

For rectal use only – not to be swallowed.  
  • Tear suppository from the strip, remove blister and insert suppository
  • For ease of insertion, the suppository can be moistened just before insertion
  • Insert into the rectum according to the dosage table below
  • Calculate the correct dose based on the child’s weight. If the weight is unknown, use the child’s age. Use every 4-6 hours as required.

Each suppository contains: PARACETAMOL 125mg

Warnings & Precautions

Do not use this medicine 

  • If you are allergic to paracetamol
  • If using other medicines containing paracetamol 
  • For the first time in children under 2 years of age, except on medical advice
  • For more than 48 hours at a time, except on medical advice  
  • If the package seals are broken or the use-by date has expired

Ask a doctor before use if your child

  • Has liver or kidney problems 
  • Weighs less than 8 kg or more than 18 kg

Stop use and see your doctor if your child 

Has an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after using this medicine

While using this medicine 

If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia: 13 11 26) or go to the hospital immediately, even if your child feels well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated. Keep to the recommended dose.

If these requirements are not satisfied Pharmacy Junction reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.

Return postage costs will have to be paid by the customer and any postage paid will not be refunded. In the case that free shipping is offered, an $10 fee is deducted from the refund as postage is at our expense.

Pharmacy Junction uses Australia Post OR Courier Please for all deliveries. All parcels will be delivered to the provided address and may require a signature on receipt. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery if no one is home during business hours, as Australia Post & Courier Please will leave a card with collection point details.
