Dymista® Allergy

General Information

Dymista® Allergy provides rapid relief from hay fever symptoms, with relief starting in as little as 5 minutes.¹˒² It is designed for the effective treatment of moderate to severe allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and nasal congestion.

Dymista® Allergy contains two active ingredients:

• Azelastine hydrochloride – an antihistamine that helps prevent the effects of histamine, a substance released by the body during an allergic reaction.
• Fluticasone propionate – a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the nasal passages.

Warnings

Do not use Dymista® Allergy:

• In children under 12 years of age.
• In adolescents aged 12–17 years, unless advised by a doctor.
• For longer than 6 months unless advised by a doctor.
• If you are allergic to Dymista® Allergy or any of its ingredients.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Dymista® Allergy if:

• You have a nasal or sinus infection or an ulcer in your nose.
• You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant or breastfeed.
• You have recently injured or had surgery on your nose.
• You have a history of tuberculosis.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if:

• Your symptoms have not improved within 7 days.
• You experience nosebleeds.
• You develop symptoms of a nasal or sinus infection, such as fever, pain, swelling, or discoloured nasal discharge.
• You experience eye pain or changes in vision.

Stop using Dymista® Allergy and seek medical advice if you develop:

• An allergic skin reaction.
• Shortness of breath.
• Wheezing after using the product.

This product contains benzalkonium chloride and phenethyl alcohol as antimicrobial preservatives.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Azelastine hydrochloride and fluticasone propionate.

Directions for Use

Follow the recommended dose carefully.

• Shake the bottle gently for 5 seconds before each use.
• Prime the spray device before using it for the first time or if it has not been used for 7 days or longer.
• Use the spray regularly as directed. Although symptom relief may begin quickly, it can take several days for the medicine to reach its full effect.
• Regular use can help prevent your symptoms from returning quickly.
