Description: Vitamin B2 is essential for health and is involved in many different biochemical pathways of the body. First discovered in 1917, its name describes its colour: “flavus” is Latin for “yellow”. It is found in foods such as organ meats, yeast, almonds, wheatgerm, mushrooms and wild rice.
