Directions for Use

1. Wash and dry your hands before beginning the test.
2. Remove the cap from the supplied lancet and dispose of the cap safely.
3. Clean the fingertip with the supplied alcohol pad and allow it to dry.
4. Press the lancet firmly against the fingertip to obtain a blood sample.
5. Gently massage the finger to produce a sufficient blood drop.
6. Place the capillary dropper into contact with the blood and draw blood up to the indicated fill line.
7. Transfer the collected blood into the sample well of the test cassette.
8. Add 2 drops of the supplied buffer to the sample well.
9. Wait 10 minutes.
10. Compare the test result with the supplied Vitamin D Colour Card to interpret the result.

Result Interpretation

The test provides an indication of Vitamin D status based on the colour comparison:

• Deficient: Indicates a very low Vitamin D level.
• Insufficient: Indicates a Vitamin D level below the sufficient range.
• Sufficient: Indicates a Vitamin D level within the test’s sufficient range.
• Excess: Indicates a high Vitamin D level.
• Invalid: If the control line does not appear, the test should be repeated with a new test.
