• Instructions for use

Directions for Use

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
2. Bring the test cassette and kit components to room temperature before testing.
3. Open the foil pouch and place the test cassette on a clean, dry and level surface.
4. Clean the fingertip with the supplied alcohol pad and allow it to dry.
5. Remove the protective cap from the supplied sterile lancet.
6. Press the lancet firmly against the fingertip to obtain a blood drop.
7. Using the supplied capillary dropper, collect the required blood sample.
8. Transfer the blood sample to the sample well on the test cassette.
9. Add the required amount of supplied buffer.
10. Start the timer and wait approximately 5 minutes.
11. Read and interpret the result according to the instructions supplied with the product.

Important: Follow the manufacturer’s enclosed instructions carefully, including the specified sample volume, buffer quantity and result-reading time.

Result & Important Information

The test provides a qualitative screening result for ferritin. A result suggesting low ferritin should not be considered a diagnosis on its own. If the result is abnormal, or if you have ongoing symptoms, consult your doctor or healthcare professional for appropriate assessment and laboratory testing.

Storage

Store the test kit below 30°C and keep the test cassette sealed in its foil pouch until ready to use. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
