Description

Robitussin Chesty Cough Forte Cough Liquid 200mL

Robitussin Chesty Cough Forte is an oral liquid medicine supplied in a 200mL bottle. Its formulation contains two active ingredients: guaifenesin and bromhexine hydrochloride.

The product is a pharmacy medicine and is supplied with a measuring cup for accurate administration. It has a fruit flavour.

Active Ingredients

Each 5mL contains:

Guaifenesin 100mg
Bromhexine hydrochloride 4mg

Other Ingredients

Contains benzoates, hydroxybenzoates, saccharin, sulfites and sorbitol (10.5g per 30mL).

Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Directions for Use

Always read the product label and follow the directions for use.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 10mL per dose.
Children aged 6 years to under 12 years: 5mL per dose.
Do not exceed 3 doses in a 24-hour period.
Use in children aged 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Warnings

Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Ask a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding, taking other cough and cold medicines, or if there is a history of gastric ulcer.
Seek medical advice before use for persistent or chronic cough, including cough associated with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema, or where there is excessive phlegm.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than one week, recur, or are accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache.
In case of overdose, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 in Australia.

Return postage costs will have to be paid by the customer and any postage paid will not be refunded. In the case that free shipping is offered, an $10 fee is deducted from the refund as postage is at our expense.
