Liposomes are nano-sized vesicles constructed of a phospholipid bilayer that are readily absorbed across mucous and cell membranes and are therefore better utilised by the body. Liposomes bypass the digestive processes and fuse with cell membranes to deliver encapsulated compounds intracellularly.Vitamin C helps to reduce the duration of the common cold, provides nutritional support for healthy immune system function and assists in the absorption of dietary iron. Vitamin C helps to support connective tissue health, collagen formation and assists in the maintenance of wound healing. It is an antioxidant that helps to reduce free radical damage to body cells and assists other antioxidants within the body such as glutathione, tocopherol and flavonoids.

Ingredients

Each 5 mL dose (1 metric teaspoon) contains:

Sodium ascorbate 1.28 g
equiv. to vitamin C
 1000 mg

 

Excipient ingredients: lecithin, purified water, glycerol, ethanol, lemon oil.

Dose

Adults: Measure 5 mL (1 metric teaspoon) and take once a day, or as professionally prescribed. Hold the liquid in the mouth for 30-120 seconds between the cheek and gum, before swallowing. Best taken on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before food.

Shake well before use.

Warnings

  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
  • Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Vitamin supplements may only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate.
  • Adults only, not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice.
  • The recommended daily dose of this medicine contains 130mg of sodium.
  • Contains 12% v/v ethanol and sugar alcohols.
  • If you have any pre-existing conditions or are on any medications always talk to your health professional before use.
  • Some products should be ceased at least two weeks before any elective surgery, please confirm with your health professional.

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Pharmacy Junction will offer you an exchange or refund provided that:

  • You return the item within 30 days of purchase
  • You produce your original Pharmacy Junction register receipt, online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase at the time you return the item.
  • The item must not have been used or damaged in any way including that
  • It is in its original packaging including manuals, pamphlets, and all accessories.
  • It is unopened, unused and in its original saleable condition
  • The product is not one on which a change of mind return is not available (https://www.pharmacyjunction.com.au/returnspolicy/).

If these requirements are not satisfied Pharmacy Junction reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.

Return postage costs will have to be paid by the customer and any postage paid will not be refunded. In the case that free shipping is offered, an $10 fee is deducted from the refund as postage is at our expense.

Pharmacy Junction uses Australia Post OR Courier Please for all deliveries. All parcels will be delivered to the provided address and may require a signature on receipt. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery if no one is home during business hours, as Australia Post & Courier Please will leave a card with collection point details.
